Mexican 'serial killer and cannibal', Andrés Mendoza, 72, arrested for 'murdering and dismembering 9 women including his girlfriend' (photos)

  Authorities in Mexico have arrested a suspected 'serial killer cannibal' after they discovered the remains of his 34-year-old missing girlfriend and at least eight other women at his home.   The Attorney General’s Office for the State of Mexico disclosed that the eight other women may have been murdered by Andrés Mendoza, 72, during a 20-year stretch. Imagen Television reported that Mendoza who videotaped the killings of his victims confessed to have eaten their body parts.   Police in the town of Atizapan were conducting a search for Reyna González, a mother of two girls, when they found her dismembered body inside Mendoza’s on Saturday, May 15.  The mother of two was reported missing last Friday after she went to Mendoza’s home at noon to tell him that she was going to end their relationship.    Mendoza did not agree with González’s ending their relationship and reportedly stabbed her inside his home. Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame

 










Arsenal legend, Dennis Bergkamp has been inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.



Bergkamp, who scored 87 goals and laid on 94 assists in 315 Premier League appearances for Arsenal, joins his former team-mate Thierry Henry as well as Alan Shearer, Eric Cantona, Roy Keane, and Frank Lampard in the Hall of Fame.




The Dutch forward arrived at Arsenal in 1995 from Inter Milan and he had a transformative impact on the club.



Bergkamp helped Arsenal win the Premier League three times, including going the whole season unbeaten in 2003/04.

















“It feels special to be part of a small group of players who got the recognition of playing in the strongest league in the world,” said Bergkamp. “I’m honoured.



“I’m extremely proud if people say that I was one of the first foreign players who added something to the English game.



“The Premier League most definitely made me a better player. From the moment I arrived in England I’ve embraced the English mentality and passion for football, it suited me and my style of play.



“Playing every game against good and tough opponents meant I improved all the time. I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.”
