Mexican 'serial killer and cannibal', Andrés Mendoza, 72, arrested for 'murdering and dismembering 9 women including his girlfriend' (photos)

  Authorities in Mexico have arrested a suspected 'serial killer cannibal' after they discovered the remains of his 34-year-old missing girlfriend and at least eight other women at his home.   The Attorney General’s Office for the State of Mexico disclosed that the eight other women may have been murdered by Andrés Mendoza, 72, during a 20-year stretch. Imagen Television reported that Mendoza who videotaped the killings of his victims confessed to have eaten their body parts.   Police in the town of Atizapan were conducting a search for Reyna González, a mother of two girls, when they found her dismembered body inside Mendoza’s on Saturday, May 15.  The mother of two was reported missing last Friday after she went to Mendoza’s home at noon to tell him that she was going to end their relationship.    Mendoza did not agree with González’s ending their relationship and reportedly stabbed her inside his home. Turkey-bound Nigerian man arrested with 54 ATM cards

 






A Nigerian man, Abubakar Sale, has been arrested at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, with 54 ATM cards.



 


Sale was arrested by officers of the Nigeria Customs while attempting to board an Ethiopian Airplane to Turkey. Upon his arrest, he was discovered to be carrying 54 ATM cards of different banks, bearing various names.





















The money-laundering suspect was handed over to the Head of Kano Zonal Office of the EFCC by Area Controller of the Nigeria Customs Service in Kano, S.P Umar,on Wednesday, May 19.


 


Umar told the EFCC head, Mualledi Farouq Dogondaji, to conduct further investigation.


 


On receiving the suspect, the EFCC zonal head assured that proper investigation will take place, adding that the Commission will communicate the outcome of the investigation and possible prosecution to the Customs Service.
