Mexican 'serial killer and cannibal', Andrés Mendoza, 72, arrested for 'murdering and dismembering 9 women including his girlfriend' (photos)

  Authorities in Mexico have arrested a suspected 'serial killer cannibal' after they discovered the remains of his 34-year-old missing girlfriend and at least eight other women at his home.   The Attorney General’s Office for the State of Mexico disclosed that the eight other women may have been murdered by Andrés Mendoza, 72, during a 20-year stretch. Imagen Television reported that Mendoza who videotaped the killings of his victims confessed to have eaten their body parts.   Police in the town of Atizapan were conducting a search for Reyna González, a mother of two girls, when they found her dismembered body inside Mendoza’s on Saturday, May 15.  The mother of two was reported missing last Friday after she went to Mendoza’s home at noon to tell him that she was going to end their relationship.    Mendoza did not agree with González’s ending their relationship and reportedly stabbed her inside his home. He was a diligent officer - Governor Wike's aide mourns one of the seven policemen killed by gunmen in Rivers




Marshall Obuzor, the Senior Special Assistant (New Media) to Rivers State Governor, Wike, has mourned an Assistant Superintendent of Police, Nelson Azuma, one of the seven the police officers killed by gunmen last Friday.


 


LIB reported that ASP Azuma was killed when gunmen launched attack at Rumuji Police Station. The same hoodlums also killed two policemen on special check point at Choba bridge. He was a diligent officer - Governor Wike's aide mourns one of the seven policemen killed by gunmen in Rivers Police Station was resisted by police but three officers were killed.





 Taking to his Facebook on Monday, May 10, Marshall Obuzor, described late Azuma as a diligent police officer, who he had an opportunity to work with. 


 


"I wish to extend my condolence to the family of ASP Nelson Azuma, and the Ekpeye ethnic nation over the loss of ASP Nelson Azuma," he wrote. 


 


"ASP Nelson was killed in cold blood by suspected IPOB hoodlums who attacked policemen this past Friday at the Rumuji Police Station. Beyond being my fellow Ekpeye man he was a delligent Police officer who I had the opportunity to work with. MAY GOD GRANT HIS FAMILY THE FORTITUDE TO BEAR THE LOSS AND MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE"
